VENICE

A wedding in Venice can never get bored. Yes, because it is unique, praised, loved by all. And will be even more special on your wedding day.

It is not easy to describe the city, because its beauty makes each tale reductive compared to what you can live by visiting it or, even more, during a distinctive wedding in Venice. Venice is elegant, precious, unique, funny, romantic. A jewel where buildings, bridges, monuments and squares tell the artistic vitality that marked and marks the history of this city. The beating heart of Venice is the gorgeous San Marco square, the most elegant open air lounge in Europe, surrounded by works of art of indisputable value: the imposing Bell Tower and the Venice Cathedral with its marble and mosaic decorations that anticipate the splendour of the interiors; the Palazzo Ducale, ambassador of the Serenissima golden era; the Clock Tower, an engineering masterpiece that for centuries has marked the time in Venice. But in this town it’s also nice to get lost anywhere you go, from Rialto to Punta della Dogana, among the districts (sestieri) with their romantic bridges, small squares, campi and campielli. Every corner looks like a work of art, as well as water, that gently embrace the entire city; starting from the Canal Grande, the most important and imposing channel, and from the many small channels that offer stunning views.

This is the background of several and sumptuous buildings that can accommodate wonderful weddings.

They are mostly private homes used for events; many of these also have lovely gardens that allow to perform outside part of the events, sometimes on the edge of a channel. The halls of Venetian palaces are true works of art, finely decorated and adorned by stately chandeliers from the centuries-old Murano glass art. Anyway not only the private buildings, though numerous, are the ideal locations for a wedding. Venice also provides the city’s artistic heritage sites such as museums, academies and art galleries. And last but not least, the hotels, which in this city have extraordinary architectures and services, as well as panoramic terraces or overlooking the Canal Grande.
